VAN HELSING'S CURSE: Asbury Park Show Cancelled
October 29, 2005VAN HELSING'S CURSE, the classical/rock music brainchild of TWISTED SISTER frontman Dee Snider, have cancelled their previously announced October 30 appearance at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park, New Jersey "due to production difficulties," according to a posting on the VAN HELSING'S CURSE web site.
VAN HELSING'S CURSE's music, which is performed live by an 18-piece orchestra, a choir and a rock band, pairs heart-pounding, terrifying original compositions with clever re-workings of such memorable classic pieces as MIKE OLDFIELD's "Tubular Bells" (made famous by "The Exorcist" film),BEETHOVEN's "Moonlight Sonata", and more and reaches its ominous climax with a spine-chilling cover version of BLACK SABBATH's classic "Black Sabbath". Snider is hosting each date of the tour, providing narration and setting the tone for the performances and promises audiences that this year will be even bigger than last.
